Introducing v911

Contributed by Michelle on January 14th, 2007

Are you a dog or cat owner who has ever found themselves in an emergency situation with your companion animal only to find you have no idea where the nearest 24-hour emergency veterinarian is located?

Have you ever worried that you live too far away from the 24-hour emergency veterinarian for your animal to be treated in a timely manner during an emergency?

Now there is a service that can help! v911 is the first animal ambulance service in New Jersey. In addition to handling after-hours emergencies v911 offers transports to the public, veterinary offices and 24-hour emergency veterinarians during normal business hours.

Our services are not available yet! Prior to launching our service v911 is holding a fundraising event in March. Please take a look around our website and be sure to read about our upcoming fundraiser.

Great idea. I grew up in NJ and now live in Boston. Luckily I live less than a mile from Angell Memorial Hospital for Animals. It is supposed to be one of the best animal hospitals in the country.
